NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. All Saints Day:  Happy Feast to you all. May the Saints continue to intercede for us! Let us follow their example and like them live with “clean hands and pure hearts” seeking God and doing His will.
  2. November month is dedicated to the poor. Let us support those deprived by sharing and caring for them.
  3. Holy Eucharist: Kindly continue to join in the Holy Eucharist in your homes celebrated by our archbishop Monday to Saturday 7.30 am and Sunday at 9 am. Also tune in to special sessions/ talks on various topics conducted online by various archdiocesan bodies.
  4. Church office remains closed till further notice.
  5. Church services: For any church services sacramental or others like booking of masses, etc. Kindly get in touch with us priests by sending an email on the parish id ijparish74@gmail.com. Please do not come to the church for clarifications or bookings.
  6. All souls day, Monday 2nd November: We pray for the faithful departed. Masses will be celebrated for the box intentions you have offered. No masses at the Oshiwara cemetery, but you can go and pray for your loved ones. One Plenary Indulgence can be obtained from 1 Nov to 30 Nov.
  7. Friday 4th November is the First Friday of the Month. Kindly switch off all the electric connections in your homes for half an hour and spend this time in prayer.
  8. Sunday School: Online classes will have a winter break starting from Sunday 8th Nov. to Sunday 22nd Nov. Online classes will resume from Sunday 29th November 2020.
  9. Community Welfare Fund/ Donations: We thank you for your generous contribution towards the needs of the church and for community welfare. Please hand over the CWF envelope containing the cheque/ donation cheque to your respective PPC/ SCC coordinator who will do the needful. Kindly mention clearly the period of payment (i.e. the month/months/year/years for which the contribution is to be marked)
  10. Covid Vaccine Box: The vaccine against Covid-19 is expected soon. So we hope, every family has started saving for the same, which will help ease the expense of the vaccine for the family or help someone else in the community.
  11. Vocal for Local: Some of our parishioners have started some endeavors like selling food items from their homes. Invite you to buy from them and support them to generate some income.
  12. Employment: Kindly visit the employment portal www.e2elinks.com to check job opportunities.
  13. Permanent graves in St. Blaise, Amboli:  All burials will be shroud burials.    
  14. We thank you dear parishioners for your wonderful cooperation and support. Covid-19 threat is still on. Continue to take proper precautions as you move around. Be safe and practice SMS. Do attend the online community meetings as lots of information regarding church matters and parish happenings is passed on in these meetings.
