                NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

 

  1. Sixth Sunday of the year: World Marriage Day. All married persons are called to live a life of love and faithfulness in their spousal relationship.  
  2. Holy Eucharist: For Sunday masses kindly follow the allotment given. It is advisable that till the permission to attend online mass is valid to join in the Holy Eucharist in your homes celebrated by our archbishop Mon to Sat 7.00 am and Sun 9 am.
  3. Mass timings for today are as follows: 6.30 a.m. Konkani, 8.00 am, 9.30 a.m. in English, 5 p.m. (Konkani) and 6.30 pm in English. Babies, school going children, senior citizens 60yrs and above, those with co-morbidities are strictly not allowed.
  4. Feb 17 is Ash Wednesday: It is a day of fasting. Mass timings are as follows: 6.00 am, 6.45 am and 7.30 am in English. Evening: 6 pm in Konkani, 7 and 8 pm in English. Ashes will be sprinkled at all masses after communion. Kindly register for the masses. Babies, school going children, senior citizens 60yrs and above, those with co-morbidities are strictly not allowed.
  5. Fridays of Lent: As part of the Lenten missions on Fridays of lent, we will have a series of talks by Rev. Fr Anil Valder from the Archdiocese of Delhi. He will join us from Delhi online for these talks at 8 pm. This will be followed by Stations of the Cross. We expect many of you to be present for the talk and the prayer service.
  6. Feb 19 (Friday): We will have a special mass for senior citizens at 5 pm. One family member may accompany them. Kindly register with your community coordinator. We advise those senior citizens with co-morbidities and health difficulties to avoid coming for the Eucharist. Holy Communion for them will be arranged. Please get in touch with your PPC/ SCC members who will inform us priests about the same.
  7. Feb 23 (Tuesday): Special mass for children of Std. VIII – X at 6.30 pm. One parent to accompany the child. Kindly register with your Sunday School teachers.
  8. Church services: For any church services sacramental or others like booking of masses, etc. Kindly get in touch with us priests by sending an email on the parish id.  
  9. Church office is open from Monday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Office remains closed in the mornings and on Sundays. You may continue to avail of services like mass booking online. Come to the office only if it is absolutely essential.
  10. Covid-19 threat is still on. Continue to take proper precautions as you move around. Make sure you wear the mask and sanitize your hands periodically. Few of our community members have received the vaccine dose and so far have not experienced major side effects. In case you have received the vaccine dose, kindly inform your community coordinator. We would like to keep a record of those who have received it. Continue to save for the vaccine using the Covid-19 vaccine box.
  11. Next Sunday the mass allotments are as follows. Not more than 20 members from a community.

8.00a.m. Mass:    Communities No. 7, 12, 13, 16, 18.

9.30a.m. Mass:    Communities No. 1, 2, 6, 10, 15.

5.00p.m. Mass:    Communities No. 4, 5, 9, 14.

6.30p.m. Mass:    Communities No. 3,8, 11, 17
