3rd SUNDAY OF EASTER, 23rd APRIL, 2023

NOTICES FOR THE WEEK

  1. Summer Club: Children who have registered for Summer Club should assemble in the church on monday at 9:15 am sharp. Kindly carry water bottles.
  2. Children who are going to 4th Std can register for First Holy Communion classes and those going to 11th std can register for Confirmation classes. Registration forms available in the church office. Sunday school begins from 18th June.
  3. This year onwards we begin a 5 month Pre Confirmation classes for students in Std 10th. This is a compulsory pre-requisite for admission to Confirmation classes next year. 10th Standard students of our parish are requested to collect the Pre Confirmation registration forms from the church office. Classes will be held during Sunday school timings.
  4. The leadership tenure of all cells and association has ended. The following associations are requested to install new leadership: SVP, Ladies Sodality, Youth, Hope & Life, Sunday School, Choirs, Ushers, Legion of Mary, Community Fund and Finance Committee by the 10th of June.
  5. Joseph Cardijn Technical School, Parel, has organised 2 batches of one month training in Handyman Course for SSC/HSC students offering basics of Welding, Electrical, Car Servicing, Fabrication, Carpentry and Electronics. Those interested kindly see the notice board.
  6. As you are aware Covid cases are increasing with certain deaths also reported. Do not take it lightly. Kindly take necessary precautions especially by wearing masks in public places and maintaining personal hygiene.
  7. As the temperature in summer is increasing, you are requested to keep a bowl of water for birds on your window sils or outside of your homes/terraces. Let us show care for our birds and animals this summer.
  8. Parishioners and others who sit in the extension area of the church during services are requested to keep the chairs back after the 9:30am mass.  Please follow this arrangement after 9:30am mass throughout the year. Kindly cooperate.
  9. With the consent and approval of the PPC /SCC members kindly note the new mass timings in Summer. On weekdays there will be only one mass celebrated in the evening at 6:30pm in English. On Sundays masses in the morning at 7am in Konkani and at 9am in English.  No evening mass on Sundays. Morning intentions will be prayed at the evening masses on weekdays. This arrangement is from 1st May to June 10th.
  10. We wish you happy holidays and a good time with your families. Come back refreshed and rejuvenated for an exciting another pastoral year.
  11.  Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs 25,210/- which is for the parish trust. Thank you for your generosity.
